Brig. Gen. Paul Kennedy awards Cpl. Isaac Ibarra the Joint-Service Achievement Medal for recognition of his efforts as part of Joint Task Force 505's humanitarian aid and disaster response in Nepal, during a ceremony at Camp Courtney, Okinawa, Japan, Sept. 30, 2015. The Joint-Service Achievement Medal is awarded for outstanding achievement or meritorious service. Ibarra, from Naples, Florida, is a combat correspondent with III Marine Expeditionary Force Headquarters Group, III MEF. Kennedy is the deputy commanding general of III Marine Expeditionary Force and commanding general of III Marine Expeditionary Brigade.
