    A U.S. Army Soldier from Company C, 2nd Battalion, 12th Infantry Regiment, fires at insurgent fighters during a three-hour gun battle in Kunar province, Afghanistan's Waterpur valley, Nov. 3. The 4th Infantry Division Soldiers have been battling anti-Afghan fighters in area since arriving in Afghanistan last June.
