GREAT LAKES, Ill., (August 13, 2015) – Seaman Recruits Corrie Roach (left), 24, from Conyers, Ga., and Jordon Kuhn, 18, from Manheim, Pa., open their electronic tablets (e-tablets) after recruits from Division 947 were assigned the tablets during their first week of training at Recruit Training Command (RTC) here, Aug. 13. Part of the Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy’s (MCPON) eSailor initiative, Naval Service Training Command (NSTC) launched the second cycle of the pre-pilot with recruit Division 947. The second cycle of testing will help determine how well the device integrates into the training environment at RTC.
