A black-and-white archival photograph showing a rural water point in an arid landscape where a pipe is discharging water into an excavated earthen basin or trough. A group of people stands on the left observing, while a herder tends to a large flock of goats or sheep waiting in the background. The terrain is flat, dry, and sparsely vegetated, suggesting a semi-arid or drought-affected region.

The operator lines up the well/pump and pumps water into a makeshift collection point - hole in the ground - and the nomads will bucket out water for their livestock. The project will develop civil works around their well site to include storage tanks, watering troughs and human use facilities. Picture #32.
