Japan Ground Self-Defense Force members and U.S. Marines board a Boeing CH-47 Chinook to be airlifted to their objective during Forest Light 16-1 at Camp Imazu, Takashima, Japan, Sept. 15, 2015. The service members were airlifted by the helicopters to move to the objective faster and avoid ambushes. The JGSDF members are with 50th Infantry Regiment, 14th Brigade, JGSDF.
