U.S. Army paratroopers from Dog Company, 1st Battalion, 503rd Infantry Regiment, 173rd Airborne Brigade, stack sandbags on the second floor of a structure they are building defenses for during Exercise Engineer Thunder 2015 held at the Great Lithuanian Hetman Jonusas Radvila Training Regiment, in Rukla, Lithuania, Sep. 9, 2015. The 173rd Airborne Brigade worked alongside the Lithuanian Land Forces partners, the General Engineer Coy, Juozas Vitkus Engineer Battalion, to mount a more hardy defense using front-end loaders, bulldozers and tractors. Engineer Thunder will improve both countries’ ability to operate as a combined force, which increases NATO’s ability to deter aggressors. (U.S. Army Photo by Sgt.
