U.S. Army paratroopers assigned to Dog Company, 1st Battalion, 503rd Infantry Regiment, 173rd Airborne Brigade, camouflage their High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV), in a effort to mount a suitable defense for the structure behind them during Exercise Engineer Thunder 2015 held at the Great Lithuanian Hetman Jonusas Radvila Training Regiment, in Rukla, Lithuania, Sep. 9, 2015. The 173rd Airborne Brigade worked alongside the Lithuanian Land Forces partners, the General Engineer Coy, Juozas Vitkus Engineer Battalion, to mount a more hardy defense using front-end loaders, bulldozers and tractors. The Soldiers of the 173rd Airborne Brigade are part of Operation Atlantic Resolve, an ongoing multinational partnership focused on joint training and security cooperation between the U.S. and other NATO allies.
