150828-N-FN215-199 SATTAHIP, Thailand (Aug. 28, 2015) - Chief (Select) Quartermaster Fernando Ortiz, assigned to Coastal Riverine Squadron 4, and a member of the Royal Thai Navy Riverine Patrol Regiment provide cover during a casualty evacuation drill during Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) Thailand 2015. In its 21st year, CARAT is an annual, bilateral exercise series with the U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps and the armed forces of nine partner nations including, Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Timor-Leste.
