150830-N-SU278-092 GULF OF THAILAND (Aug. 30, 2015) – A BQM-74E target drone launches from the flight deck of the amphibious dock landing ship USS Germantown (LSD 42) during Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) Thailand 2015. In its 21st year, CARAT is an annual, bilateral exercise series with the U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps and the armed forces of nine partner nations including Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Timor-Leste.
