SALALAH, Oman (August 21, 2015) - Aviation Electronics Technician 1st Class Daniel Eldridge, from Dry Ridge, Kentucky, and Aviation Structural Mechanic 1st Class Adam Leard, from Jasper, Alabama, prepare to perform an electronic support measures operational check on a MH-60R Sea Hawk helicopter assigned to the Grandmasters of Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 46 aboard the guided-missile destroyer USS Farragut (DDG 99). Farragut is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations as part of Theodore Roosevelt Carrier Strike Group supporting Operation Inherent Resolve, strike operations in Iraq and Syria as directed, maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the region.
