Operation Proper Exit participant Sgt. Ethan Payton, a Milford, N.J. native, holds a SIG Sauer pistol, Oct. 16, at a firing range on the Iraqi Security Operations Force range at Victory Base Complex in Baghdad. Payton lost his left arm below the elbow when he was struck by a rocket propelled grenade during an ambush June 2004 in Baghdad.
