Students of the Horizontal Construction Engineers Senior Leader Course work together to calculate the rapid classification of a fixed bridge at the Fort Leonard Wood, Mo., multi-purpose bridge site during a field exercise. The SLC not only teaches students how to become proficient in the field of horizontal engineering, but it teaches them valuable leadership skills including project management, resources training, and utilizing the critical path method.
