Jack Usrey, commandant of the Adjutant General School, Fort Jackson, S.C., describes the emotional turmoil he feels while struggling with the memories of childhood molestation during a survivor's panel presentation that was part of the inaugural CASCOM-Fort Lee SHARP Summit Aug. 21 at the Army Logistics University. Other members of the panel are Command Sgt. Maj. Julie Guerra, I Corps G2 CSM at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash., and Staff Sgt. Mary Valdez, a small group leader at the Fort Drum, N.Y., Noncommissioned Officer Academy.
