Ronald Beckham on the plan to execute training in the North Arabian Gulf while aboard the USAV Maj. Gen. Charles P. Gross, Aug. 24, 2015. The training was conducted to better prepare crews and support personnel for search and rescue missions in the North Arabian Gulf in the event an aircraft goes down in an overwater mission. Multiple units in were involved in the all-day training event including two UH-60 Black Hawks, as well as two notionally downed crews, from the 1st Battalion, 137th Aviation Regiment, a Logistical Support Vessel (USAV Mag.
