An Army Reserve Soldier from the 203rd Transportation Detachment, 359th Transportation Battalion, aboard the Army Logistics Support Vessel 8, the Maj. Gen. Robert Smalls, tosses a line to awaiting Coast Guard members to anchor the ship to the dock at Port Ponce, Puerto Rico, Aug. 22. The ship, one of only a handful in the Army’s arsenal was delivering ammunition and supplies to the Puerto Rican Army National Guard. The mission was a part of exercise Nationwide Move 15.
