Command Sgt. Maj. Scott Peare, former command sergeant major of the 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division looks out at the brigade formation before relinquishing his position as the senior enlisted advisor during a change-of-responsibility ceremony Aug. 14 at Fort Hood, Texas. Peare noted in his speech that this is most likely his last assignment that would allow him to develop Soldiers directly.
