During the visit, the delegates received a mission briefing updating them on the JSTARS program and an orientation tour of the aircraft. Team JSTARS; consisting of the 116th ACW, Georgia Air National Guard, the 461st ACW and Army JSTARS, is the sole location for the E-8C Joint STARS flying operation providing one-of-a-kind manned, battle management, command and control, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance support to combatant commanders around the globe.
