Cadet David Mcdermott fills out a close combat attack briefing after receiving a block of instruction from Troopers of 1st Squadron, 17th Cavalry Regiment, 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade, during the unit's aerial gunnery exercise, Fort Bragg, N.C., Aug. 18. The cadets were able to see every aspect of the unit's range, which including a fueling and arming point, control tower, and target engagement areas as part of Cadet Troop Leader Training.
