Eric Eckman, a native of Yatesboro, Pa., assigned to 8th Engineer Support Battalion, Camp Lejeune, N.C., puts the last touches to a wooden bench in the Instituto Polivalente Juan Jose Laboriel vocational school in Santa Fe, Honduras, on July 30. Eckman is deployed as part of the Adaptive Force Package in support of Southern Partnership Station-Joint High Speed Vessel 2015 (SPS-JHSV 15). SPS-JHSV 15 is an annual series of U.S. Navy deployments, fostering a lasting relationship with the host nations by promoting and enhancing regional stability and security through the sharing of experiences.
