Adam Thomas, a native of Preston, Md., both assigned to 8th Engineer Support Battalion, Camp Lejeune, N.C., use 2” x 8” lumber to make a support beam during renovations to a roof of the Instituto Polivalente Juan Jose Laboriel vocational school in Santa Fe, Honduras, on July 28. Both Marines are deployed as part of the Adaptive Force Package in support of Southern Partnership Station-Joint High Speed Vessel 2015 (SPS-JHSV 15). SPS-JHSV 15 is an annual series of U.S. Navy deployments, fostering a lasting relationship with the host nations by promoting and enhancing regional stability and security through the sharing of experiences.
