Lt. Col. Robert Lee, 560th Flying Training Squadron director of operations, performs a pre-flight check on a T-38 Talon aircraft April 8, 2015 at Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph, Texas. During preflight inspections, aircrew members check the exterior and interior of aircraft to check for discrepancies and ensure serviceability. The 560th FTS qualifies fighter and bomber pilots as instructor pilots in the T-38C Talon.
