U.S. Marine Corps Maj. Gen. Paul W. Brier, commanding general of 4th Marine Division (4th MARDIV), and Mr. Elmer Dapron, president of the 4th MARDIV Association, render honors during the playing of the national anthem at the 4th MARDIV Association Deactivation Ceremony at Liversedge Field, Camp Lejeune, N.C., Aug. 6, 2015. Veterans of 4th MARDIV and their families visited the Camp Lejeune area for a final muster, which included visits to the Lejeune Memorial Gardens, new equipment demonstrations, tours in the local community and concluded with the deactivation ceremony for the unit.
