U.S. Marines with 1st Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment salute Mr. Elmer Dapron, president of the 4th Marine Division (4th MARDIV) Association, during the 4th MARDIV Association Deactivation Ceremony at Liversedge Field, Camp Lejeune, N.C., Aug. 6, 2015. Veterans of 4th MARDIV and their families visited the Camp Lejeune area for a final muster, which included visits to the Lejeune Memorial Gardens, new equipment demonstrations, tours in the local community and concluded with the deactivation ceremony for the unit.
