Marines with 2nd Battalion, 10th Marine Regiment participated in a Reconnaissance Selection Occupation and Position training during a section chief course aboard Camp Lejeune, N.C., Aug. 6, 2015. The Marines learned how to safely prepare a mortar for combat during the RSOP training event. The Marines are scheduled to graduate Aug. 12, and will potentially take charge of a team of five Marines and an artillery weapon system once returning to the unit.
