STENNIS SPACE CENTER, Miss. (Aug. 04, 2015) Naval Small Craft Instruction and Technical Training School's (NAVSCIATTS) Diesel Systems Overhaul and Maintenance (DSOM) course students learn about diesel engine operations. The DSOM course provides students the training necessary to maintain, repair and extend the service lifecycle of diesel engines. NAVSCIATTS is a Department of the Navy schoolhouse operating under the U.S. Special Operations Command, and trains and educates Foreign Security Forces and other international students on small craft strategy, operations, communications, weapons, maintenance and instructor development.
