(Aug. 04, 2015) A Naval Small Craft Instruction and Technical Training School's (NAVSCIATTS) Outboard Motor Maintenance and Overhaul (OBM) instructor (right) inspects a student's micrometer setting during a classroom exercise. The OBM course provides students the training necessary to maintain, repair and extend the service lifecycle of outboard motor engines. NAVSCIATTS is a Department of the Navy schoolhouse operating under the U.S. Special Operations Command, and trains and educates Foreign Security Forces and other international students on small craft strategy, operations, communications, weapons, maintenance and instructor development.
