The South Carolina Army National Guard conducted a ceremony at the National Guard armory in Newberry, S.C., Aug. 2, officially recognizing and welcoming the 1050th Transportation Battalion to the 228th Theater Tactical Signal Brigade. During the ceremony, the 1050th Trans. Bn. received the unit patch from the 228th TTSB officially recognizing the battalion as part of the brigade. The ceremony was also a change of command with Lt.
