ARABIAN GULF (July 28, 2015) Lance Cpl. Patrick Kennen, from 3rd Battalion, 1st Marine Division, watches as a safety observer for Sailors and Marines participating in an M-16 assault rifle live-fire exercise on the flight deck of Whidbey Island-class dock landing ship USS Rushmore (LSD 47).
