Cmdr. Mark Prokopius, commanding officer of the Virginia-class attack submarine USS New Mexico, is interviewed on the KOAT-TV ABC morning television show during the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta. Cmdr. Prokopius was in town to participate in the Albuquerque Navy Week, Oct. 3-11. Albuquerque Navy Week is one of 21 Navy Weeks planned across America in 2009. Navy Weeks are designed to show Americans the investment they have made in their Navy and increase awareness in cities that do not have a significant Navy presence.
