(July 30, 2015) Builder 2nd Class Cameron Blevins, assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 18, finishes concrete on a model two-story house, part of the “search city” training facility at the National Disaster Search and Rescue Dog Foundation’s National Training Center. Seabees, from active duty and reserve units based out of Port Hueneme, Calif., are constructing various training facilities at the center to simulate realistic disaster scenarios for search dogs under the Department of Defense Innovative Readiness Training Program.
