Staff Sergeant Brett Burstell and Astor check a vehicle after it entered Kabul Compound. Burstell and his explosives detection dog, part of the Palm Beach County reserve sheriff?s program, are deployed to Kabul, Afghanistan with the 265th Air Defense Artillery Unit in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. They check 20-30 vehicles a day and play a key role in the safety and security of coalition soldiers in the Kabul area.
