Spc. Hiawatha Brown, of 1st Battalion, 12th Cavalry Regiment, an element of the Fort Hood-based 1st Cavalry Division, prepares to ambush a scout vehicle of the 1st Squadron, 98th Cavalry Regiment, on an area reconnaissance patrol during the Exportable Combat Training Capability exercise at Camp Shelby Joint Forces Training Center, near Hattiesburg, Miss., on July 28. The event showcases the 155th Armored Brigade Combat Team’s partnership with 1st Cavalry Division as they train to maintain themselves as lethal combat-ready forces prepared to support Army commitments worldwide.
