Soldiers of the Arkansas National Guard receive a briefing on Arkansas law regarding the use of force in the exercise of their official duties during a mandatory daylong training for Soldiers and Airmen designated to carry side arms. This training is necessary to fulfill the governor’s executive order authorizing the arming of full time Guard members in order to protect personnel and facilities at Guard recruiting storefronts and readiness centers across the state.
