ARABIAN GULF (July 16, 2015) U.S. Navy Lt. Amelia Olson engages a target with her M9 Beretta pistol during a short-range marksmanship qualification course aboard the dock landing ship USS Rushmore (LSD 47). Olson is a physician assistant with Combat Logistics Battalion 15, 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit. The purpose of the course is to refine the basic combat marksmanship skills of the Marines. The 15th MEU is embarked on the Essex Amphibious Ready Group and is deployed to maintain regional security in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Sgt.
