INDIAN OCEAN (July 15, 2015) Quarter Master 2nd Class Kyle Hill, left, and Quarter Master Seaman Olivia McGuire chart a course on the bridge of Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Essex (LHD 2). Essex is the flagship for the Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) and, with embarked 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), is deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
