SAN DIEGO (July 15, 2015) -- Integrated training teams aboard Naval Base North Island conducted an aircraft mishap exercise testing response and rescue capabilities with their mutual aid partners within the San Diego Navy region. The exercise presented a real life scenario of an aircraft crashing into a building causing fatalities and severe personnel injuries as well as extensive fire and structural damage.
