Sgt. Edgar Ripoll, Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 23rd Quartermaster Brigade, pulls a weight sleigh near his residence, part of a routine that includes physical training and one or two more hours of weight training and functional exercise. The 31-year-old, who grew up watching war movies, successfully completed Special Forces Assessment and Selection in September 2014. The health care specialist is scheduled to start the next phase of Special Forces training within the next month.
