150704-N-MK881-050 SOUTH CHINA SEA (July 4, 2015) Lt. Andrew Bardwell, electronic materials officer, of the littoral combat ship USS Fort Worth (LCS 3), serves burger patties in the galley as part of an effort from officers to relieve Crew 102 for the Fourth of July. Currently on a 16-month rotational deployment in support of the Indo-Asia-Pacific rebalance, Fort Worth is a fast and agile warship tailor-made to patrol the region’s littorals and work hull-to-hull with partner navies, providing 7th Fleet with the flexible capabilities it needs now and in the future.
