The Colorado Army National Guard bids farewell to the UH-1 Iroquois "Huey" one last time at the High-Altitude Army Aviation Training Site in Eagle, Colo., Sept. 8. The last five Hueys at HAATS will be retired at the end of September. The nose art on the front of the aircraft is the symbol of the Iroquois and the five tribes of the Iroquois nation. It is the oldest living democracy known to mankind, said Army Col. Joel Best, director of aviation and safety for the Colorado Army National Guard.
