    Marine Rotational Force - Darwin

U.S. Marines and Australian soldiers discuss the best way to engage mock enemy targets with indirect fire June 24 during a Fire Support Coordination Exercise at Bradshaw Training Area, Northern Territory, Australia. FSCEX is a bilateral exercise in which Marine and Australian forward observers direct fire from howitzers, mortars and AH-1 Cobra attack helicopters against the targets. The Marine Rotational Force – Darwin deployment enables Marines to more effectively train, exercise, and operate with their Australian partners, enhances regional security and builds the capacity to respond more rapidly to natural disasters and crises throughout the region. The Marines are with MRF-D. The Australian soldiers are with 8th/12th Regiment, Royal Australian Artillery, Australian Army, Australian Defence Force. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by SSgt. Jose O.
