U.S. Army Spc. Brandon J. Carter, 22, of Erie, Colo., and Romanian Land Forces Pfc. Gheorghe Ghimea, 30, of Curtea de Arges, guard the front gate of the Babadag Training Area, Romania, Sept. 2. Service members of the 4th Squadron, 2nd Stryker Cavalry Regiment and the 33rd Mountain Troop Division are training together during Joint Task Force-East, a three-month military exercise designed to enhance ongoing efforts to build interoperability capabilities and develop relationships with other militaries for stronger regional security cooperation.
