Soldiers from 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division load an M1A2 Abrams Main Battle Tank onto a U.S. Air Force C-17 Globemaster III at Ramstein Air Base, Germany, June 20 as a part of Operation Speed and Power. The exercise tests the readiness of the Army’s European Regionally Aligned Force to rapidly deploy land combat power to Bulgaria where the tanks will conduct a familiarization live-fire at the Novo Selo Training Area.
