Braman recently returned from Afghanistan, the battalion based in Bagram Air Field provided aerial support to ground commanders while supporting Operations Enduring Freedom and Freedom’s Sentinel, during their nine-month deployment. Gibson will now transform the general support aviation battalion to a highly maneuverable unit capable of deploying anywhere in the world for a wide variety of missions on very short notice.
