Fanned out like the inside of a mushroom, the engine of a KC-135 Stratotanker is the epitome of mechanical artistry. This particular engine is attached to a Pennsylvania National Guard KC-135 currently operating in Riga, Latvia, June 17, 2015, in support of Saber Strike 15. Saber Strike is a set of international exercises taking place in the Baltic Region designed to improve joint operational capability in a wide range of missions and prepare participating nations to support multinational contingency operations.
