Lonnie Brooks, 145th Force Support Squadron production recruiter, responds to emails and makes phone calls to potential applicants at the North Carolina Air National Guard Base, Charlotte Douglas International Airport, N.C., June 16, 2015. At the age of 18, Brooks enlisted into the NCANG as an aircraft electrician, then volunteered for a recruiter position which he has been in for the past six years.
