Staff Sgt. Michael Chandler runs with his son at the U.S. Army Pacific Family Fun Run, June 5. The fun run is a 1.5 mile family fun run on Fort Shafter that is a part of several activities associated with the Pacific Theater Army Week which commemorates the Army’s 117-year presence in the Pacific region. Soldiers will participate in various activities in the week-long celebration. The Pacific Theater Army Week will conclude June 12 with the 240th Army Birthday Commemoration.
