U.S. Army Pacific soldiers, leaders, civilians, and family members gathered at historic Palm Circle, Fort Shafter, June 8, to participate in a 1.5-mile Family Fun Run. The fun run is part of several activities associated with the Pacific Theater Army Week which commemorates the Army’s 117-year presence in the Pacific region. Soldiers will participate in various activities in the week-long celebration. The Pacific Theater Army Week will conclude June 12 with the 240th Army Birthday Commemoration.
