A. U.S. Marine with Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 463, Marine Rotational Force – Darwin, looks out the back of a CH-53E Super Stallion helicopter with HMH-463, MRF-D, during a familiarization flight June 10 over Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia. The familiarization flight took off from RAAF Darwin, flew over the Port of Darwin and landed back at RAAF Darwin. MRF-D is an excellent opportunity to improve our knowledge of one another’s customs and traditions which ultimately strengthens U.S.-Australian military interoperability.
