Marine Staff Sgt. Aaron Bynaker, recruiter, Recruiting Substation Reno, adopted three-year-old Rodan, a Pomeranian and corgi mix, during Military Appreciation Night at Reno Aces Ballpark, June 5, 2015. Bynaker wasn’t looking for a dog, but when he saw Rodan being carried by members of the Nevada Humane Society, he took interest. Bynaker said he liked the dog’s happy personality, and the two seemed to click, so he decided to adopt Rodan that night. The Reno Aces recognized the adoption on field during the game.
