Logistics Specialist 2nd Class Karl McHale preforms a maintenance check on a Blue Force tracker June 6 aboard the U.S. Army landing ship USAV Aldie (LCU-2004) during Tradewinds 2015. Blue Force trackers were used for real-time geotracking of maritime ships to coordinate different events at the exercise. Tradewinds 2015 is a joint, combined exercise conducted in conjunction with partner nations to enhance the collective abilities of defense forces and constabularies to counter transnational organized crime and to conduct humanitarian/disaster relief operations.
